Can lockdown be more dangerous than the corona virus itself? Life vs. livelihood!!

This is a 4th phase of lockdown, people have locked themselves in their houses cases are still increasing but what is the impact of this pandemic situation in our country and What are the worst case scenario people are facing and where this would end?

Impact on Migrant People
Millions of migrant workers with families lost their livelihood overnight because of the lockdown.
India is a country with 1.3 billion of population where around 45 million of migrant workers move to big cities in search of work and better life.
Migrants have no security, they get paid in a form of daily wage to live their lives, and they have no security as well as vulnerable to poverty and starvation.
But currently these people are unemployed unable to even pay for basic necessity like food water and even rent. With time passing by many of them lost their hope, patience and all the savings.

With no source of income migrants decided to head back to their villages and they walked miles just to reach their respective homeland, few managed to get transport but those who are not even left with money to pay for transport are walking hundreds of miles for several days.
People are hurt and angry with government and even companies or factories they worked for as well losing their lives in accidents on their way back home.

Impact on People health and Psychosis
Extension imposed on lockdown again and again is increasing stress and anxiety among people, people are frustrated and irritated of just sitting and home and people are dealing with their own mental battle fighting with negative thoughts.
Lockdown has also triggered more anxiety disorders and OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) where people go overboard with cleaning. People are more prone to depression during this pandemic situation.

Increasing suicide cases
More and more cases are coming up of people taking their own lives during this pandemic situation.
Most of the People killed themselves due to loneliness and fear of being tested positive for Covid-19.
Migrants are dying in accidents on their way back to home, People taking their lives after losing jobs and savings due to starvation.
People are dying due to corona as well due sufferings they are unable to bear anymore.

People suffering from non-Covid diseases
People suffering from non-Covid like diabetes, HIV, Tuberculosis etc. are now suffering even more and even losing their lives.
Most of hospitals have been converted into quarantine facility where only Covid-19 patient are treated, in such case where these people will go?
People are having difficulties in even getting medicines they require for the ongoing treatment.

Conclusion
We practically have no idea when this would end but government must do something to help these people who are suffering and it is costing their life. This is a life vs. livelihood situation where people must be under lock-down in order to save as many lives they could but government must do take step to ease pain of these people who are suffering.
